Historic Agreement Between HTS and SDF: Military Integration Begins

Following high-level talks led by SDF General Commander Mazloum Abdi in Damascus, a full consensus has been reached with the HTS administration regarding "military integration." According to the agreement expected to be officially signed today, SDF forces will be restructured into 3 divisions and 3 brigades within the Syrian army. While the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) will retain their unique identity as a special brigade, Counter-Terrorism and Border Guard units will also be incorporated into this new military structure.
