Ardahan Newspaper Reaches the World with Multilingual Content

Established in 1995 with the goal of making Ardahan's voice heard globally, the Ardahan Newspaper has gone beyond the traditional concept of journalism and adopted a crucial promotional mission. The newspaper aims to introduce Ardahan on a global scale, particularly by using various languages in its social media and video content.
Under the leadership of its founder and Editor-in-Chief, Mehmet Ali Arslan, the newspaper has been guided by a vision to publicize Ardahan's cultural, natural, and social richness internationally since its establishment. One of the most striking reflections of this mission is the multilingualism in the newspaper's publication policy.

The newspaper positions itself as an "Ardahan promotion platform" rather than just a news source. Therefore, the social media content and videos it produces are prepared in various languages to reach people in different cultures and geographies with information about Ardahan.

Thanks to the Ardahan Newspaper's multilingual approach:

  • Languages Used: The publication includes content in Turkish, English, Russian, Azerbaijani, Chinese, Arabic, French, German, Persian, and Kurdish.

  • Unique Distinction: With its use of multiple languages, the newspaper also holds the distinction of being the first and only city newspaper in the world to publish in different languages.
